This website has been set up for the homeowners and residents of the Homeowners Association of Shaker Woods, Inc. located in Herndon, Virginia. 

Homes located on the following streets are part of the HOA that this site covers:

  • Courtney Court (Section 8)
  • Heather Way (Section 8)
  • Kelly Court  (Section 7)
  • Meadowville Court (Section 7)
  • Rowland Drive (Section 8)
  • Sandy Court (Section 8)
  • Shaker Woods Road (even numbers only 1300-1316) (Section 7)

If your question is related to a property that is not located on one of the streets listed above, it is not part of the Shaker Woods HOA that operates this website. 

Please check http://www.shakerwoods.org/index.html to see whether that HOA might include your property.

Our roads (except for pipestems) are maintained by Virginia Department of Transportation.  Pipestems are private and owners are responsible for maintenance, including plowing.  Road, plowing, and median grass trimming should be addressed by calling 1-800-FOR-ROAD or by using VDOT's online portal at: https://my.vdot.virginia.gov/

We encourage you to join the HOA Facebook group.  Sign up is easy and you will enjoy several benefits of participating, including:

  • Keeping up to date on the latest events in the neighborhood
  • Getting to know your neighbors better
  • Sharing information about plumbers, electricians, landscapers, cleaners, babysitters, dog walkers etc.

The page is a closed group so no one outside the invited, verified group members can see the posts.  You don't have to be Facebook Friends with other group members to participate, but you do need a valid Facebook account.

We will not post any photos of neighborhood children.

As a neighborhood mostly without sidewalks, we share our roads with cars and trucks every time we walk, run, or bike on them.  Please take this into consideration before contracting with another service that will increase traffic within the neighborhood.
